What is K9 Nose Work® ?
K9 Nose Work® was developed on the West Coast by detection

dog trainers who saw that detection work could be a fun way

to enrich the lives of family dogs.  Since hitting the East Coast

this game has become more popular than ever, with more

classes and competitions springing up every day!

Many handlers note that their dogs blossom after starting Nose Work classes.  Shy dogs often demonstrate more confidence and fractious pups often start to exhibit more focus and calm.  All dogs benefit from having a purpose in their lives and Nose Work is a job that any dog with a nose can perform, regardless of age, size, breed or physical ability.  What's more, since we only work one dog at a time, dogs that might not be able to attend other classes due to a sensitivity to other dogs or the busy class environment are able to thrive in the safe space we create.

If you are interested in joining us for Nose Work, we offer group classes or private lessons that can be taken by everyone from the casual dog owner to the serious competitor.
